Here's a question: Does a moralistic sermon go down better when it's served up alongside mouth-watering descriptions of shrimp po' boys and ice-cold beers?

In the case of Ken Wells' new novel, Crawfish Mountain, the answer might very well be, "Hell, yeah." Especially when you add a gumbo full of colorful Cajun characters, a plot line that moves like a speedboat through the bayou, and enough sex to keep those good ol' pages turnin' like they were blowing in a good breeze off the gulf.
